Witches of Irishtown

On the First Wednesday of every month, we meet in Dublin at the Irishtown pub. Okay, okay ... it's not REALLY in Dublin -- it's in Vancouver -- but it might as well be Dublin. The craic is grand. Consider it a very short, very inexpensive trip to Ireland. To many of us Witches and Pagans, Ireland is the holy land, so it's a very appropriate place for a Pagan Meetup. Anyroads, at Irishtown, there is world class live Irish music, hearty Irish food, and strong Irish booze (so you have to be at least 21 to join us at this Meetup). Because of the world class Irish music, it's kind of loud and rowdy, so it isn't the best place to have a deep, esoteric conversation. But, it's a great opportunity to MEET people with whom you might have a deep, esoteric conversation at some other time. Our Irishtown nights are for having fun, singing along, and creating community. Irishtown is also very conveniently located for both Vancouverites and Portlanders, being just off I-205 on Mill Plain Blvd. There is ample free parking, and as we all know, FREE is a very good price. So, if you want to meet and hang out with some fine -- slightly silly -- Witchy folk, join us at Irishtown on the First Wednesday of every month (and also on the last Wednesday of every month).

Just a heads-up for the Witches of Irishtown Meetup this coming Wednesday, 7 Nov. 2012 -- there is a special guest musician playing that night. Normally, there is a $10 cover for this musician (whose name I don't recall, but I hear he's very good), HOWEVER, Irishtown is letting us in for our Meetup without paying the cover charge. Just tell the guy at the door who is collecting the $$ that you are with Sorcha's Meetup, and you get in for free. If you like him, and can swing it, you can leave him a big tip.
