Who Should Pay (and Be Paid)?

Many are convinced that private enterprise can best address most of society’s needs.  Others believe that, while private enterprise has its place, there are areas in which it should NOT be employed.  Should we, for example, expect private enterprise to produce the best outcome when employed in providing for national defense, or delivering health care, or in administering our prison systems.

Join us as we discuss the advantages and disadvantages of private enterprise when applied to these and other areas.

What is AVANZA training. Private enterprise is profit based by necessity. Competition only works if there is some! When large enterprises commandear the market "read octopus"... competition and a market driven by the consumer of services or products will then disappear. Monotonous Monopoly anyone? He who has the gold makes the rule. As resources become scarce and distribution becomes controlled, need and purchasing is driven not by choice but by scarcity consciousness and hording, black market, whatever...ensue. have fun Ya'all sorry to miss out. Joanne, great to hear from you! To answer your question about AVANZA training: Two of our members own the business - it provides training for Certified Nursing Assistants, and they have rooms that work well for a discussion group. When we were looking for a new place to meet, they kindly offered that facility. It's in a convenient, central location and much appreciated.
