Grand Designs: The JIRA Edition

  • May 22, 2013 · 4:00 PM

Join us for the next Atlassian User Group where Joy Mather will share the journey of JIRA within NZQA. Joy's presentation will take you back 10 years, to when JIRA was first implemented within the organisation. In order to support the evolution of NZQA over the last decade, this initial configuration has been upgraded, patched and adjusted many, many times. Joy will talk you through these changes and give an insight into what's next. It's time for a major overhaul of their JIRA implementation, but how are the team at NZQA going to approach it?

Make sure you attend this User Group to find out how Joy and her team take on this challenge and move forward.

About Joy Mather

Joy has worked in IT Service Delivery in a variety or roles for nearly 30 years, most recently focusing on implementing good practice and process to ensure optimum service delivery. She has been managing Change and Release at NZQA for the last 15 months and has been responsible for re-introducing discipline and structure into the way they do things. Offline, Joy still believes in books and volunteers each year to sort pre-loved books for the DCM book-fair in Wellington.

Drinks and nibbles will be provided at the conclusion of the presentation - we look forward to seeing you there!

All Welcome – No Charge
