Dispersed Development Teams & Innovative Uses of Confluence

Join us at the next User Group for two very different presentations by Peter Lister from New Zealand Post and Jane Krause from the Ministry of Justice.

Presentation 1 - Dispersed Development Teams

The development team at New Zealand Post is very geographically dispersed, with internal stakeholders and external vendors spread across New Zealand and Australia.  Peter will walk you through how his team have used JIRA and Confluence to help deliver their platform, discuss the benefits gained and also the lessons learnt along the way!

About Pete

Originally from Scotland, subtitles will be provided, Pete moved to NZ 6 years ago and has 10 years experience in delivering software and telecommunications projects.  He is a passionate agile enthusiast and connoisseur of Wellington coffee shops!

Presentation 2 - Innovative Uses of Confluence

Our second presentation is by Jane Krause from the Ministry of Justice. Jane will tell us how their current innovation network, based on Confluence, came to be, and discuss the process the Ministry follows when introducing a collaborative idea. Come along to find out how to improve your innovation and maximize the benefits of Confluence.

Drinks and nibbles will be provided - we look forward to seeing you there.

All Welcome – No Charge

Thanks Peter and Jane - great presentations. I'm curious about Obay, the product demo that hijacked the end of the meeting - is there a web presence for this tool?
