How to Integrate with JIRA
In this session Andy Brook will describe the technology landscape for Atlassian plugin development, describe the challenges with developing plugins, mechanisms for integrating JIRA, e.g. REST services, for extending JIRA, e.g. though Post Functions, finishing off with some things that are coming in JIRA5, and possibly a sneak peak at JEMH UI.
About Andy
Andy has been using / supporting / developing Atlassian tools for about 4years, integrating Confluence and JIRA when working at Dolby. With corporate winds flowing to outsourcing, Andy emigrated to NZ for a bit of a change and is currently employed as a Solutions Architect at Fronde. In his spare time, Andy continues to develop a variety of plugins for JIRA and confluence, most recently adding Wufoo forms support to the JIRA mail handler,JEMH.
