Freaked out by something slithery peering out at you from under a moist log? Thrilled at the sight of a wriggling larvae burrowing for cover under the leaves? All shook up when something yellow and black buzzes dangerously close to your ear? Well, take a deep breath and join us for a very special class where you’ll learn hands-on (that’s right!) all about our creepy crawly friends! We’ll learn to find, identify and safely collect a variety of amazing critters. After learning what we can, we’ll release them, unharmed, back to their homes to continue their essential active lives. We'll even try to find edible insects and see what they're like!
Join us for this or any of our special classes in Puyallup celebrating Independence Week. Adults and families with children are invited to join us. This class is being designed and taught by Wolf College apprentices under direct supervision of founder Chris Chisholm. Expect a class that provides you with generous information, hands-on experiential learning, and heart-felt inspiration. Pre-payment is not required to RSVP but we will ask you to fill out a post-class evaluation, and make a $15-$25 contribution afterwards based on your financial situation and your level of satisfaction with instructors in training.
