The venue was too noisy to have good conversations but it was very nice to meet and talk to the people. I'm looking forward to the next meetup.

I really enjoyed meeting everyone, and was happy to see so many women who previously knew no other women developers meet one another last night. Can't wait for our next one.
Great group of ladies!
I got to meet some great girls in a casual setting. I hope the next meet will be in a place that is more quiet but as a first meet, I think it was pretty successful.

Heh, we won't be coding this meet-up, just talking up the next time we code together.
It's fine by me as well. No prob at all. Really excited to meet everyone!

That's pretty far to go just to code with some chicks! ;) It's fine with me!

It's cool with me.
Branwen, I can't speak for anyone else, but it wouldn't bother me. I need all the support I can get!
Hello everyone! I'm excited about meeting all of you. I'm a trenssexual and I was just wondering if you'd all be comfortable with my presence. I understand if it would make you uncomfortable. Otherwise, I'm just here to learn code! ^_^
So excited to meet everyone and make Girl Devolop IT a happenin' Chicago event!

I am the ulitmate cabana boy serving up tasty CMS, cloud computing and SharePoint solutions....and an occassional margarita...
This is just what I've been waiting for. Last coding I did was back in college back in 2001. Hated PERL, thought I'd never go back. Now I'm diving into Ruby and dang if it ain't friendly! I'd love some ladies to hack with [and I have a great space for it too]

I'm really looking forward to finding out what kind of support system we have in Chicago for women who want to be or are already in the programming space. Can't wait to meet all of you.
