Whether you are new to team programming or just want to know the terms to impress your friends, you should come out to Thoughtworks for some refreshments, mingling, and hands on fun and games (legos!) all geared to get you in the know about what Agile project management is and how to use it when building your software.

Learning more about Agile and Scrum was a lot of fun! Thanks to ThoughtWorks and their interactive approach to learning. I appreciate all the knowledge and great people that shared so much that evening. Can't wait to go to the next event.

Great presentation by Cliff. It was so engaging, funny and I learned a lot through the hands-on workshop. Audrey and the whole ThoughtWorks team did an awesome job conducting the Lego workshop. I wanted to keep playing :) Thanks guys for hosting!

It was a blast. I got a lot of questions that had been bugging me for sometime now answered. Also, there was lots of pizza and drinks so I was able to get the question "what's for dinner?" resolved at the meeting.

This was a fun and challenging event! Teamwork, know the goal, evaluate, get client feedback and then execute the task. Who knew Lego's could be used as a project management example?

I have worked in an Agile/Scrum environment for the past 3 years. Although I do not regularly code and am a UXDesigner, Agile has allowed me to be cross functional, build a unicorn of skillsets and spend many days swarming & para-programming with other developers in my department. We work in 2 week sprints and I have found iterative development to be rather rewarding. I currently design & develop both mobile and web apps with the MVP approach however my scrum team and I ultimately champion our mobile product. Being a part of an all male scrum team has definitely been fun, entertaining to say the least and they are pretty easy group to work with, however I would love to meet other women in tech and broaden my network!

Hi, I think this is a great idea!! I am new to coding, but I am building my knowledge base daily. I am not sure if I will be there this Wednesday, but I did RSVP.

This sounds fun! I learned pretty quickly about these quick check ins when I participated in the The Nerdery Challenge to build a website in 24 hours...Agile indeed. :)
