Designing and implementing a front end with Bootstrap. Bootstrap is an open source front end tool designed by the Twitter engineering team to use grid style layouts and HTML5 to make fast responsive websites. If you are itching to know not only how to build a nice looking website, but one that interacts with users in a cool, visually intuitive way, this class is a great place to start. From the twitter team:
"Bootstrap is designed to help people of all skill levels—designer or developer, huge nerd or early beginner. Use it as a complete kit or use to start something more complex. Unlike other front-end toolkits, Bootstrap was designed first and foremost as a styleguide to document not only our features, but best practices and living, coded examples. Originally built with only modern browsers in mind, Bootstrap has evolved to include support for all major browsers (even IE7!) and, with Bootstrap 2, tablets and smartphones, too."
The Fabulous Ri will be teaching, we've very excited she's back from down under!
