Volunteers Needed, Saturday! Black Girls Code

A Tale of 3 Cities Saturday 28th July 10 am - 3 pm
Black Girls Code is partnering with ThoughtWorks for a "Build a Webpage in a Day" event. The day will be spent helping the girls build their very own webpage using a combination of Mozilla web tools, HTML, and CSS, to be deployed via Heroku. There will be a Lead instructor from SF coming out to run the class and we are looking for volunteers to pair with the girls. You will be provided with the curriculum before-hand to prepare if you like. All experience levels are welcome!
The curriculum will be taught in three ThoughtWorks' offices simultaneously (Atlanta, Chicago, and San Francisco) with video connecting all three so that the girls can encourage, inspire, and share with one other.
ThoughtWorks Chicago is located in the Aon at 200 East Randolph on the 25th floor. We'll provide lunch and snacks. To volunteer, they can contact Ryanne Baynham directly at [address removed]
