An approximately 66 mile ride on Canada's beautiful Friendship and Welland Canal Trails, a ferry ride across the Welland Canal (!) and back to Buffalo along the Niagara Parkway. Flat route, moderate pace. Road bikes recommended due to the ride length. There will be a midway stop at Tim Horton's in Port Colborne. Bring plenty of water and food (something more substantial than gels), your passport/enhanced license/Nexus, tire repair supplies, and something to take pictures with! This is one of the more gorgeous rides in the area! We leave from the Bike Shop in downtown Buffalo at 8:00 AM sharp!

    Hi Becky,
I am planning on doing the ride on Sunday. I have gone 50 miles and hoping I can make the 66, Is it possible to post the route ahead of time? I don't want to hold you up, but neither do I want to go too fast. I'm worried that if I ride too fast to start I will bon

What is a no drop ride and would I be able to end in Colbourne and meetup for the ride home. We could work out the details later if at all possible. I have ahybrid and have done 45 miles so I probably would have no problem with 66 but I thought Colburne would be a good place to stop if I have problems. thanks

We aren't going back the way we came, Lori, but we are taking a rest at a Port Colborne before moving on.

Also, it's highly recommended that people ride road bikes on this ride - it's much, much harder to do 66 miles on a hybrid than on a road bike.

Is this a no drop ride and what do you consider a moderate pace? I would love to go but do not want to hold you ladies up. Let me know what you think Becky.

You still need to bring money for Tim Horton's, though! (American money is fine)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
