After our Meet Up in January, many wanted to learn more and decide on the areas that are important on your communal plan going forward.

We are on the search for solutions, after voicing some of the issues in our way.

What is yours???

So, next time, at February gathering, on SATURDAY, come prepared (because many of you liked coming ready to share) with your "deal breakers, important  and nice to have's" lists of what your are looking for in your community/housing.

A form posted by Marianne in the files section of this site for your use http://www.meetup.com/Women-Living-in-Community-Asheville/files/

NOTE: You may need to save file and print for your use.

It is also much easier to measure your community vs. this list when it shows up.

This is a wonderful start to your notebook or journal of gathered information to move you into action through an exercise with others which is connection.

Remember the tenets of WLIC which are: Connection, Information and Action

In January our Meet Up discussion was "The 5 Things holding you back from your community experience". See the summary coming soon.  BTW, summaries for Meet Ups completed can be found at: http://www.meetup.com/Women-Living-in-Community-Asheville/messages/boards/forum/6366572

Marianne submitted- phew, next time we need someone else!!

Good start to some work we all need to do to find out what comes next with us steering the ship and finding others and our way.

Looking forward to having everyone at my house. Just to let you know, I plan to prepare a drip beef which is a hot sandwich. So, any salads, desserts, appetizers -- or anything you want to share -- is great. Just bring what you want. See you then!

I would like a ride to the potluck from the Montford neighborhood near the Visitor Center, if it's convenient for anyone to pick me up there. I will share the cost of gas. Thanks. My mobile is 404/[masked]
