Sustainable, mostly off grid as far as energy use. Permaculture farming, green building to include many different housing types. Forested areas, pasture for chickens and goats, spring water with running water/creek on property...and community space both indoor and outdoor, learning center for children and adults. Rustic camping for residents and visitors.
Open mind, open heart. Kindness and giving value and respect to all ways of living/being. Humor and play, meditation and reverence in everyday living. Optimism and encouragement for all!
A natural, healthy way of living and being in touch with others and nature. Learning and sharing of gifts.
Not sure but willing to discuss. I have health and willingness to work.
I moved to the Asheville area in 2011 after extensive visiting since 2009. I have 3 adult daughters, almost 2 grandsons (one on the way), and 3 grand-doggers. I have been working on my mental, physical, and spiritual balance and am enjoying this area and the people I have met.
Extremely determined to learn as much as I can about sustainable community living! I have been mentally planning and thinking of what this may look like for me and I am looking forward to meeting others with the same interests.
