Webster’s Dictionary defines Mentor as: A wise, loyal, adviser; a teacher or coach This new meetup group welcomes Women looking for mentoring and Women wanting to Mentor other women.

Women looking for mentoring. If you are going through any kind of transition or big change in your life and would like some extra guidance from other women who have been through similar transitions and changes, and not only survived those transitions but flourished along the way, then we would welcome you to this new group. You no longer have to feel alone as you go though your transitions and changes along your journey in life.

Women wanting to Mentor. If you feel you are qualified to Mentor other women because of your own life experiences and wisdom that you obtained through your own life transitions and changes, then we welcome you as a Mentor so you can share your wisdom and knowledge with help others through their own similar life transitions. As you learn and grown through each of your own life transitions and changes you can then mentor and help others that are in the midst of similar life transitions. We are all meant to teach what we now know. We would welcome your wealth of knowledge and wisdom.

Transitions or life changes like any of the following are where we can help and mentor you along the way: • Menopause • Starting over in job or career • Starting or interested in starting your own business • Divorce and rebuilding after divorce • Stepfamily challenges • Moving to a new area • Making new friends • Becoming a Mom • Newly married • Any life change or transition that you would welcome some guidance and wisdom from other women that have been through similar situations.

Women helping women is a passion of mine. I find there is a great need for more support and encouragement from each other. We all benefit when we reach out and help, encourage, support and literally cheerlead each woman as she creates her own journey in life. When we help others we continue to help ourselves.
