Google Boulder (map) presents the Drive API Classroom Series and we’re extending you an invitation! Mark your calendar for this two evening event: Tuesday and Wednesday, September 24th & 25th from 6:00-9:00pm. We anticipate this event to sell out very quickly, so please apply now!

What’s a Classroom? The Google Classroom Series is a project designed to expose engineers to Google's technology, development, and engineering principles through workshops and hands-on tutorials.

What is the Drive Realtime API? At Google we are always working to make web applications more interactive and useful. Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides let teams collaborate on documents in real-time, and now we have made the same real-time technology available to you so that you can build the next-generation of great applications! The Drive Realtime API makes Google's operational-transformation-based collaborative technology easy to use without the need for a complex server.

During Night 1 of the Classroom, you will receive an overview of the Drive Realtime API before Google engineers guide you through a hands-on introductory Code Lab to building your first Realtime application.

On Night 2 of the Classroom, participants will experience a more in-depth Code Lab. We'll dive deeper into advanced Realtime topics and techniques and work hands-on to build a useful application with the Realtime API.

An application is required for this 2-night series. We strongly recommend attending both nights since the material on Night 2 builds off Night 1.

We hope you’ll join us! Drive API Classroom is open to all qualified engineers with a passion for coding. We encourage you to apply now as seats are sure to go fast. Applications are due by Tuesday, September 3rd. Applicants will be notified of their application status byTuesday, September 10th.
