Learn to Code with Us: Culver City

Interested in learning to code or improving your skills? Join this group, led by professional Software Engineer Michelle Leonhart (@at0mbxmb) every week!

There are no prerequisites to attending a Learn to Code with Us event. The only rules are that you must bring your own laptop, and agree to follow the Code of Conduct.

Learn to Code with Us events are FREE, all ages, and open to the public.

Learn to Code with Us events do not have formal instruction. Think of them like office hours, except social and fun. We come together, work on our ideas, and help each other out. Occasionally, someone may ask to present an idea, concept, language, or project to the group. But most of the time we just do our own thing.

excited to come to my first group - what are the system requirements for the laptops we bring?

Elena, I can't speak for the group but I think any laptop you bring that's less than a couple of years old should be more than sufficient. Probably want a few gigs of drive space available, and at least 2 gigs of RAM... processor shouldn't be a concern.

Question about the venue: Is this place set up for wheelchair accessibility? I looked at pictures on Google Street View - it shows both entrances have a number of steps to scale. Is there a back entrance with a ramp? And parking - where do we park? And one last one - are the bathrooms accessible?
