Now in the South Bay!
This is the first meeting of the Silicon Valley algorithms study group. We'll initially borrow the format from the SF group and follow along with the Coursera "Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Part 1" course from Stanford, here: https://www.coursera.org/course/algo -- we'll watch videos, discuss, and do some whiteboarding. Starting with Week 1.
Part of the motivation for this group has been people expressing interest in algorithms review for coding interviews, so I'll also bring some coding interview questions and we'll work through the ones relevant to the Coursera content as a group. If you're an experienced interviewer and can help on this front, you're more than welcome to do so!
The meetup will be in the classroom at Hacker Dojo. This is a small room so the RSVP cap will be pretty low -- please keep your RSVP up to date so we don't have folks on the waiting list and empty seats.
The room is ours from 6:30, we will start properly at 7PM to give people time to get food and park, etc. Note, food and drink won't be provided.
