Game Making with Unity3D

  • May 13, 2014 · 6:30 PM

Welcome to Women Who Code : Game Making with Unity3D!

Thanks to Kabam for sponsoring our first 4-lesson series!

Do I need to prep anything?

Please download the free version of Unity3d here :

6:30 - 7:00 Mingle/Dinner

7:00 - 7:20 Review

7:20 - 8:30 Game Making Lesson 2

8:30 - 9:00 Experiment on your own

What will we cover?

Although we will be learning and working in Unity3d, we will also explore many of its overlapping 2d aspects.  By the first meet-up, you will have learned enough to start making your own game.

We will start by deconstructing a very simple and successful game, Thomas Was Alone, and using this game as a framework for our first build.

You are also free to work on your own project.

*As with all Women Who Code events, this event is open only to those who identify as a woman. Women Who Code is emphatically trans- and queer-friendly.
