Mobile Study Group

Welcome to the Mobile Study group. If you have interest in Mobile development, please attend!

Format One:

We are fortunate to have a guest instructor who will be teaching a seven week comprehensive mobile bootcamp (this is week 5 of 7). Week number 1, 2, 3, & 4 will be Java for Android development. Week number 5, 6, & 7 will be Objective-C for iOS development. This is a sprint for beginners and will move quickly. To make the most out of this opportunity, it is strongly recommended that you show up to all lessons (although, if you missed a few please still free to join - see "Format Two") and that you to complete homework to keep up and move forward with the lesson.

OR

Format Two:

You can stick with the normal WWC Mobile  meetup format (you won't be alone).

You will pair program with other attendees and build an app! You'll move at your own pace and will be able to get your hands dirty with an app from initial design to full implementation. Mentors will be floating around to answer any and all questions so you can leave with a super cool app!

Schedule:
6:30 - 7:00 Mingle and Dinner
7:00 - 9:00 Pair Programming

    Hello,
I'm beginning to lean programming but want to learn more about Mobile development. Do you suggest that I come after the class lecture series is over? What about beginners just curious to see what it's about, can they come?
