Welcome to the Mobile Study group. If you have interest in Mobile development, please attend!

You will pair program with other attendees and build an app! You'll move at your own pace and will be able to get your hands dirty with an app from initial design to full implementation. Mentors will be floating around to answer any and all questions so you can leave with a super cool app!

Schedule:
6:30 - 7:00 Mingle and Dinner
7:00 - 9:00 Pair Programming

What to do beforehand?

iOS: You will need a Mac computer running OSX 10.7 or later, with Xcode 4.5 or later. Please install Xcode from the Mac App Store before you arrive.

Android: Android apps can be developed on Mac or PC. Please install Android Studio or Eclipse and the Android SDK before you arrive. If you do not have the proper equipment, don't worry, we will pair everyone up to work together.

Hey all. Very appropriately, one member of our group published a post about her app on Medium. Check it out... https://medium.com/women-who-code/women-who-code-in-the-stacks-ea3e1c0ec8dd

Also, the security guy let me in last time with my bike but he said we really needed to go in another entrance. Is there a way to get in touch with somebody upstairs if security won't let me in with my bike? I can bring a lock but I strongly prefer not to lock my bike at night in that area if it's possible. Thanks!

It wasn't a big deal, he let me in anyway... I just don't want to get the security people upset with our hosts! I'll have them call up if there's an issue. Thanks!
