iOS Study Group (week 4 of 6)

Come and learn to make iOS apps in Objective-C! This will be a consecutive 6 week mini-class on making iOS apps. Dinner will be provided!

We will work as a group to make a very simple app, where you will learn not only Objective-C and iOS, but many important programming concepts. All levels of coders are welcome to attend.

All lessons, examples, and code will be posted to our group GitHub account:

We also have a Google Group:!forum/ios-study-group

This is week 4 and we will make a little app!

6:30 - 7:00 Dinner

7:15 - 9:00 Coding

What to do beforehand?

You will need a Mac computer running OSX[masked] or later. Please install Xcode from the Mac App Store before you arrive! It is a very large program and will take some time to download.

If you do not have a Mac, please let us know in your RSVP so we can try to pair women together.

Location: Lookout Mobile Security

As with all Women Who Code events, this event is open only to those who identify as a woman. Women Who Code is emphatically trans- and queer-friendly.

Sorry Mengying, we aren't allowing new students right now. We closed out new RSVPs after week 2. We'll do more of these in the future though.
