I was inspired in the early hours of the morning to create this group, simply because I don’t have any children.  I often ask myself am I the only one?  Surely not!

If you may have wanted children, but it didn’t happen, you just don’t want them or any other personal reason this could be the group for you. There is no shame or embarrassment in not having any children.  I feel women without children are not weird, abnormal or socially unacceptable because we can't have a deep and meaningful discussion about the affects of Calpol, school uniform or how to potty train a two year old (lol).

For one, we "ROCK" because we don’t have to worry about childminders, school runs, the postcode lottery for schools or temper tantrums when offspring become teenagers.  We have free time!!!

This is by no means a support group. I do not want to create a group to whinge about why we don’t have them (how dreadfully boring). I want to create a social circle of women who I can relate to without the stigma of pity because I am childless.  I sometimes feel bizarre or even the odd one out with my extended family, friends and work colleagues because I don’t have 2.4 children at home.

I can’t be the only women in this world who hasn’t been through the nail biting two week wait, morning sickness, cravings for pork scratching or peanut butter on top of hard boiled eggs (lol), labour or the pleasure of stretch marks. 

I want this group to be fun, enjoyable and inspiring.  It will be a comfortable space where we can meet socially to chat, giggle and empower each other together. I want to create long lasting friendships, not just mere acquaintances and more importantly meet women who understand.

I abide any form of discrimination, so if you can resonate with the above you are welcome to join. 

I have nothing against children, I am "not" anti-kids because I was once one.  I feel this is important to mention.  This group is not to 'bash' women with kids or create a divide of women, but there are are hundred and one mums groups on the world wide web.

Finally, I am not against men, but the title speaks for itself "WOMEN WITHOUT CHILDREN ROCK".
