SOLD OUT - Cultivate Your Vision. Be Bolder, Play Bigger.

Thank you for your interest in this event. It is currently SOLD OUT. Unfortunately space constraints prevent us from accepting admission at the door. We look forward to having you at our next event.

It is vital to our country and our world for women to achieve parity in corporate and civic leadership. Studies show that the leadership gap between male and female executives is insignificant except in one area: Vision. And vision is critical to leadership.

Kate Purmal has been on all sides of the equation as a Fortune 1000 executive, CEO and founder of five start-ups, a mother, daughter, and wife. What she has seen is that even the most brilliant and ambitious women don’t play big enough – many of us fail to create a full and compelling vision of what’s possible.

Most people think that visionaries are born. But really vision can be learned. Kate has deconstructed why visionaries act bolder and take intelligent risks, and how you can learn how to do the same.

As you cultivate vision, you’ll be inspired to step out of your comfort zone, to force changes in things that hold you back. In the process you’ll create a more satisfying and meaningful life. Equally important, by taking the lead, you’ll pave the way for women behind us to take their place at the leadership table.

Learn how to:
* Take your business further — over the $1, $5 or $10 million mark
* Take on new challenges to position yourself to rise quickly in the ranks of your company or organization
* Engage in more strategic projects that create more value and have greater impact
* Think boldly and increase your visibility in your industry
* Create wealth

Hi All, here's a TED Talk on "How to inspire great leaders" that fits right in with Kate's talk on visioning. Enjoy!

I am going to be a little late. Is it going to be a problem to get into the building?

  • Rosana F.

I think Lisa Ann was just trying to say it's going to be a full house. I liked the idea of an exercise ball through!

    September 13, 2013

  • Catherine S.

I can bring an exercise ball OR a folding chair! Looking forward to sitting, standing, or rolling!

    September 13, 2013

  • Lisa A.

Hi all, please ignore my exercise ball comment. It is causing more confusion than originally intended. We have a lot if chairs. But we are over our registration limit by about 8 people, so some people may have to stand. Thanks!

I do not own an exercise ball, but will bring a folding chair and a smile!

    September 12, 2013

    • Lisa A.

No worries, Greg, we have plenty of chairs. It was just a fun idea, that I see now is causing more confusion than was intended.

  • Judy E.

I don't own an exercise ball and I don't think my guest does either. Will this be a problem?

    September 12, 2013

    • Lisa A.

Judy, no it's not a problem we have a lot of chairs. However we let the registration go over the number of chairs we have by about 5. So some people may have to stand. I was making a suggestion that if you do have an exercise ball you could bring it and use it. I have 2 I will bring. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm very excited about this event. I don't have an exercise ball either but I'm sure we will work this out!

Looking forward to it! I don't have an exercise ball but if anyone brings an extra I will sit on it. ;-)

  • Lisa A.

Hi Ladies! We are going to be standing room only at this event. We pushed the RSVP list as high as it could go! So, #1 where comfortable shoes and #2 bring an exercise ball to sit on, to get a workout at the event and let others take the chairs. :)

    See you soon!

Thanks, Lisa Ann and Kathy. I will work to rearrange my schedule to attend! Are you and other attendees interested in having lunch afterwards? It sounds like it would be the type of presentation that would further good conversation.

  • Kathy H.

I attended this presentation by Kate Purmal at another event and it was one of the best business presentations I have ever been to! Very motivating and inspiring for women professionals at any stage of their career. Kate gives you practical tools you can put to work right away to identify and hone your vision, removing roadblocks to your career success.

I cannot attend this time due to an unavoidable schedule conflict, but if not for that I would have no hesitation to attend a second time. I cannot recommend this presentation highly enough!

Will this event be held in the San Jose or Palo Alto area as well? In the past there have sometimes been corollary events in the South Bay and SF. Thanks!

    August 26, 2013

    • Lisa A.

Hi Judy, for Happy Hours and networking classes, yes we sometimes have the same event both in SF and SV. However, as Kate is a highly sought after speaker, we can only schedule her for one event. Hope you can make it!
