Reba McEntire said 'Being a strong woman is very important to me. But doing it all on my own is not.' and that is the spirit of Women in Transition - Baton Rouge. We are a group of women who meet regularly to connect, have fun, and support one another as we deal with transition in our lives. Our meetups range from chatting over coffee and beignets to a walk in the swamp to checking out a new exhibit at the museum. This group is about taking care of ourselves as our lives change whether it be a career transition, relationship change, a geographic move, etc. And having some fun doing it. Our goal is to create a synergy that can fuel each of us. Join us to share in the strength of the group.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
