Sixteenth Street Studios

On Saturday from 11 AM - 5 PM, visit some of the many artists' studios, starting with 20+ artists at the 16th Street Studios in Racine. Then maybe Hot Shop Glass (see a demo of blow your own glass decorations), Spectrum (DeKoven) galleries, Wustum Museum, backstage at the Racine Theater Guild, and too many more to list (includes Kenosha, too). Meet us at the 16th Street Studios. After that we can decide where to go next, or branch off on your own or in smaller groups -- kind of a free wheeling day to enjoy learning about the arts and artists in our area.

I'm guessing that there is free street parking on 16th
Street -- Saturday's,first meetup location. There are at least 20 artists there. There may be parkiing meters at some downtown locations. Afterwards u may want to branch off to see the studios, etc. that are of interest to you. Stay as long as long at each site as u want, go anywhere on the list/map they give u when u make your $5 donation. Explore on your own, or ask if someone else is interested in something you'd like to see and team up. Kind of a free wheeling day after we make ours initial connection/meetup so you'll meet the other ladies in the group. OK?

Wow, it is almost spring but still feels like winter at times..The snow is finally melting at the parks & my patio.. Yeppie
