Why, oh Why, Mr. Vivek Wadhwa?

He is a highly accomplished Entrepreneur, Writer (TechCrunch, WSJ, & others), Academic & Researcher! His appetite for curiosity and desire to change the world is extraordinary.

He was named a "Leader of Tomorrow" by Forbes magazine.

He was one of six "2012 Outstanding Americans by Choice" recipients, a distinction awarded by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.

. . . ."Top 100 Global Thinkers" by Foreign Policy Magazine.

Some of his recent work --  "Innovating Women Leaning In to Tell Their Own Stories"

The list goes on and on. But the point is: You CANNOT MISS THIS!

Vivek Wadhwa has a lot of crazy ideas. Like. . . startups shouldn't hire
MBA grads. And age is an advantage in the startup world. And, that the
women of Silicon Valley may, in his own words, "save the world." He
must come up with these ideas because he has a lot of free time. After
all, at the moment he is only serving as Vice President of Academics and Innovation at Singularity University; executive-in-residence/adjunct professor at the Masters of Engineering Management Program and Director of Research at the Center for Research
Commercialization at Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering; a fellow at Stanford University's Arthur and Toni Rembe Rock Center for Corporate Governance; and a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at the Halle Institute for Global Learning, at Emory University. We looked for a shorter bio but couldn't find one. Vivek is a forthright advocate of diversity in business as humankind's greatest hope. And that's not crazy at all.

6:00 to 7:00 PM - Attendees' networking session

(VIP private networking session with Vivek in the Silver Lab at additional cost. We'll also feature a few of our women founders at this time.)

7:00 to 8:00 PM - Vivek's honest, authentic talk!

A great infusion of optimism, and naturally, I like anyone who understands that we are a huge, undervalued source of ideas, talent, energy and shear ability. The biggest take away: Our success will increase exponentially if we focus on building relationships and helping each other. If the mainstream won't open the door, build your own stream.

Great Speaker. An excellent opportunity to force us to think about the big picture and how our work can relate to solving world problems. Very inspirational.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
