Would anyone like to carpool from Burlington for this one?

would people mind coming into the house via the garage - there is a small door leading to the garage. There is a mud room where you can leave your boots and gear.

For those attending and perhaps wanting to get a jump on Xmas shopping, I have a lot of Chan Luu (a Vietnamese/American artist) jewelry and scarves and jewelry from the UK and Italy which has never been worn, and which I'm trying to sell. So, when you're here, take a look!

I'm new to this club, and wanted to know how the meetups are run. Does someone conduct the group discussion, or do people all simply speak as they wish?
    It's all fine w. me.

This is a very informal group. We do not conduct a formal group discussion. We discuss the book as a group in no particular order. Some discussions trail off to other related topics like current events, similar books, etc. Definitely depends on the book. We have a lot of members who are new to Vermont so sometimes conversations meander to things to do in Vermont, other meetup groups, common interests, etc. Hope this helps!

Hello I have written a true love story that I believe would be a wonderful pick for your book club. When You Come Home: The True Story of a Soldier’s Heroism and His Wife’s Sacrifice is about my mother, Daphne Kelley Cavin, and her soldier husband Raymond, who was killed while fighting in France in World War II. Inspired by the poem my mother sent her husband, When You Come Home is based on the true story of Raymond and Daphne Kelley from Lebanon, Indiana.

Mom's story first appeared in Tom Brokaw's book, The Greatest Generation, and he has endorsed my book. Mr. Brokaw states, “Daphne Cavin’s poignant story of love, loss, and sacrifice was one of the most memorable I encountered in writing The Greatest Generation. Her daughter now completes the story with this heartfelt book." A favorite among women's book clubs in the Midwest, When You Come Home may be purchased online at www.amazon.com Nancy Cavin Pitts
