The Women Business Owners Alliance provides education, inspiration and networking opportunities to women in business in Western Massachusetts.
WBOA hosts monthly breakfast meetings, featuring engaging speakers, presenting a range of topics relevant to the lives of business women. These breakfasts also provide ample opportunities for connecting both before and after the meeting. Typically, there are 50 - 60 members and guests in attendance. Breakfast meetings are held beginning in September of each year through June.
Our evening events, WBOA After 5 - Connections and Cocktails, are offered on the first Tuesday of September, October, November, March, April, May and June. These gatherings include plenty of casual connecting between members and guests. A brief but informative business-related talk is given by one of our members, followed by a short connecting activity, along with an opportunity to visit with a select handful of vendors and sponsors. After 5 Socials are a laid-back, members-only event held at the home or business of a member and are held periodically throughout the year.
Our WINGS Mentor Program, a partnership with Springfield Technical Community College, is a great way to get involved and share your business expertise with young women who are interested in entrepreneurship.
WBOA also connects its members by organizing additional social and educational events throughout the year. Two very special events include our annual Women's Night of Comedy and the annual Women of the Year Celebration where we honor our own as well as deserving women in business from around the Valley.
