This is a 2 hr women's self defense course focusing on self defense techniques modified for street and home defense from attackers. Why take this course? Because you may be faced with a decision to use self defense at any given time. If you car breaks down on the side of the road & a stranger approaches you with evil intent. Or you may come home finding a burglar in your residence; hiking or jogging in a secluded trail and someone tries to cause you harm. Is this being paranoid? Paranoia is defined as a mental disorder marked by delusions and irrational suspicions. Is there anything in the scenarios listed above that is irrational or unrealistic? No.

Is it probable? Statistically no, it is not probable, but it could happen with a probability similar to you getting in a serious car accident on the way home tonight. Statistics don't matter when you are the one-in-one thousand.

No martial arts experience nec. Casual or sportswear attire is sufficient. The cost is $35 (adults) $20 (teens) You may prepay through Paypal or pay on the day of the course by cash or check. No credit cards accepted. Instructors will be conducted by Elmer Tancinco, 4th degree black belt in Aikido (Chief Instructor Alameda Aikido) & by George Sandoval, 4th degree black belt in Aikido ( Chief Instructor Hayward Martial Arts)
