Our lives are constantly in a state of flux. We try to maintain balance and order in our lives in much the same way that we ride a bike, by continuous small shifts of weight.  The Ancient Egyptians believed that this struggles between order and chaos, balance and imbalance, justice and injustice were a natural duality personified by Ma'at and Isfet.

Ma'at is Truth, Order, and Justice. What does this mean? How is Ma’at related to our journey through ancient Egyptian culture and mythology? Come see how experience the gifts that Ma’at has to offer us.

Please dress comfortably, and feel free to bring drums, rattles or other instruments, along with a journal for recording any insights received on the journey we will take following our discussion.  Also feel free to bring an item to put on the altar during our circle.

Doors open at 7:00 pm and close at 7:30 pm, and ends at 10:00 pm. Please RSVP to ensure your space. Suggested donation of $10.00 per person to cover the space rental. Come join us for this powerful exploration!

We will be meeting in the Serena Room at Casa de Luz. Some backjacks, folding chairs, pillows and yoga blankets will be available. If possible, you might want to bring your own pillow or blanket to help make sure that you're comfy during the circle, especially if you plan to journey lying down on the floor. You might also want to bring a light wrap or sweater in case the AC is acting up! :) Several of us will be having dinner at 6 PM in Casa's restaurant, so feel free to join us for dinner before the circle!

Thanks for another wonderful meeting that was incredibly powerful for me. If anyone happens to find a peridot ring (probably size 6ish), my daughter thinks she may have lost it there. We need to check the car tomorrow. We already shook out all the blankets to no avail.

And actually, I think it was a prehnite ring. But green, nonetheless!

Thanks to Morwen for holding sacred space so lovingly. I really appreciate the opportunity to work closely with the Egyptian Pantheon… Ma'at.

I really love the circle! Tonight my brain & ears are fried. I am going to shut down & reboot. I'm sorry for the late notice. Glad nobody is on wait list tonight.

I won't be able to make it tonight. I have homework and I'm not as passionate about the Egyptian pantheon as a couple of others. But I'll miss hanging out with everyone as I hunch over my school books!

Hey all- I will be there tomorrow (with my daughter again- yay!). I would appreciate everyone refraining from wearing perfume and other highly scented products as I am very sensitive to them. Essential oils are ok!
