Our first meetup.

Welcome Wonderful Wacky Westsiders. I am so glad to see so many folks who want to get out and meet others and have some fun along the way. With that said, let’s plan our first get together. I’m sure most, if not all, of us are going to be busy the next few weeks with the holidays upon us, but perhaps a happy hour somewhere where we can get to know each other and plan our future gatherings?
I’m hoping to do a weekly gathering of some sort, even if it’s just to unwind after work enjoying a drink with others. At least once or twice a month plan an event like a hike around the area or discover a new out of the way pub or eatery or perhaps take in a movie at the new Cinatopia? The sky is the limit. This is group is about US and enjoying this wonderful chapter of our lives.

For our first lets meet at the Roadhouse. Then from there we can decide where to go. I think we should try out different venues. I'm not familiar with very many so this would give me a chance to get out.

When I was the Organizer for the "Westside Singles and Friends" Meetup group, we had a monthly event at Imbrie Hall at McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse. If the group was going to be large they would reserve an area for us upstairs.
