Wonderland Book Club Meet Wendy Perriman

Fire on Dark Water by Wendy Perriman

**Author Appearance**

Join us on the last Friday of every month from 10:00 am to 12:00pm at Center for Excellence, 3803-B Computer Drive, Suite 106, Raleigh, NC 27609.  It is just south of 440 off of Six Forks Road.

Many of us read fiction like writers, so this group is especially attuned to aspiring writers who want to know more about the craft of writing. The books we chose are all available in paperback and can be found at the library in print or audio.

The Wonderland Book Club is sponsored by the North Carolina Writers' Network (NCWN)

Wow! Another amazing Wonderful Book Club gathering. Hats off to author Wendy K. Perriman who entertained us and peeled back the layers of literary and pirate history for us. Bravo! And thank you to all of the Book Club participants who came--you are the reason we grow stronger every year!

Ladies, it was a pleasure to meet and talk with such an engaging group of readers. Thank you for inviting me to share in your thoughtful discussion. Good luck with your own writing and painting projects. You are fortunate having someone as talented as Alice to work with! All best wishes, Wendy.

Wendy Perriman's beautiful British accent drew me in immediately, but her warmth and genuine connection with all members of the group made me feel as if I'd made a new friend. She providing without reservation details of her life, her road to publication, her successes and her struggles and answered questions with ease. Wendy imparting valuable new thoughts and ideas about writing and I left with new energy and techniques to consider in developing my own skills. I also now have lots of reading to do, as Wendy described her books and characters just enough to make me have to get to know them. Thank you, Wendy! I wish you continued success.
