(Formerly known as Wonderwall's Oak Park Ukulele Meetup Group aka The Harrison Street Ukulele Players.)
Chicagoland's most 'seriously fun' Ukulele group!
We're on WGN TV 'Chicago's Very Own', Dec. 19, 2012! http://wgntv.com/2012/12/19/the-celebrated-and-festive-sound-of-ukulele/
We usually meet once-a-month, on the first Tuesday. However, there are times we may meet the following Tuesday due to a variety of circumstances.
For this April meetup, I will be wrapping up my Hawai'i family visit in Honolulu and will not be back in time. If you are available to attend on the following Tues, please RSVP.
Our host venue is The Tiki Terrace - Hawaiian Restaurant & Tiki Bar in Des Plaines where you'll find REAL Hawaiian hospitality, atmosphere and food. There's even a stage! The PERFECT venue for our Meetups and room to grow even more!
We play from songbooks of various themes which are provided to attending members. Regular members are asked to bring your copies so extra copies can be given to new attendees. We will ALWAYS play a few songs from our Hawaiian songbook.
A small donation of $5 for each attending person is appreciated.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
