Casual 3.1ish Mile Saturday Morning Run

We'll meet at 10:00am for a 3ish mile light run in the hood(s).

This will be a very casual pace run - in other words, all are welcome to participate, and nobody will be left behind.

Please note that our runs are held rain-or-shine. We cancel in the event of torrential rain, blizzard, sleet, wind chill temperatures below 10 degrees F or heat index of over 95 degrees. If there are any other conditions that make running unsafe in our area, we will review and adapt as-needed. Safety first! If we do need to cancel a run, a notice will be posted online and an email sent to all who RSVP, no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time (this is one benefit to RSVPing - which is not mandatory, but appreciated).

As always, if you have any comments, ideas or suggestions, please let us know!

    Hi all,

I've reached out to a few members of the group and spoke with Jay. I cover news in Sunnyside and Woodside and am interested in developing a story on the running group.

Is anyone currently training for an upcoming race or marathon?

Maybe this one coming up on April 21? http://www.nyrr.org/races-and-e...

    Please get in touch! matthew.surrusco[at]journalism.cuny.edu

    Thanks,

    Matt
