Annual Holiday Happy Hour Extravaganza at Claret

It’s the time of year when we should all be festive and enjoying social outings. That means, it’s time for our annual holiday happy hour outing! Following tradition established last year, we’ll return to Claret in Sunnyside to enjoy their great happy hour specials, excellent wine and craft beer selection and what will be a fun Friday evening out with the group.
Your organizer will plan to arrive by around 6:30pm (he likes to take advantage of the happy hour specials, which end at 7pm…hint, hint). You are welcome to join any time you’d like - come earlier if you want the specials, or come later if you don’t. It’s your choice entirely. If you’d like to get there before 6:30, that’s fine too - and you just might find your organizer already by the bar. Invite anybody along that you’d like. The more the merrier.
We’ll hang out at Claret until the mood strikes to either move on to somewhere else or we come up with a post-gala plan. We’re flexible, laid back and just out to have an enjoyable evening in our hood(s). If you plan to join us quite a bit later, please message your organizer to make arrangements.

Thank you all for stopping by last night at Claret. I absolutely love that our group is filled with so many interesting, fun, cool people - and we all live fairly close to each other. It truly is a privilege to know you all. I guess what this all means is that your honored organizer should probably go back to organizing monthly group happy hours (which we stopped a few months ago for some reason) - where should we go in January?

Only a couple days until our annual holiday gathering at Claret! Stop by before 7pm for their great happy hour special - either a bottle of wine and pizza or cheese plate for $19.95; or draft beer (they have a good selection of craft brews) for $4. I hope to get there by around 6 - join me and my bottle whenever you can!
