See "Russian Ark", the landmark film by Sokurov

The Museum of Russian Icons is presenting "Russian Ark", the 2002 film by Russian director Alexander Sokurov, where one continuous camera shot bears witness to 300 years of Russian history via a fantastic journey through the Hermitage Museum (former Winter Palace of the Tsars). Tickets available at the door (save $1 with your WOO card). Note that a 2nd showing is "planned" for Thursday, May 8th at 6 p.m.

    I may not be able to attend, but please feel free to go and check it out. If you like Russian art and history plus can appreciate the longest continual camera shot in film history, it sounds well worth watching this 96 minute film. Enjoy!
