WordCamp is a conference that focuses on everything WordPress. WordCamps are informal, community-organized events that are put together by WordPress users like you. Everyone from casual users to core developers participate, share ideas, and get to know each other. WordCamps are open to WordPress.com and WordPress.org users alike.
For more information about the schedule etc., check out the site: http://wordcampjerusa....
Sponsorship
WordCamp is a non-profit initiative and therefore depends on sponsorships. We have many attractive sponsorship opportunities and we'd love to have you on board. This conference is part of the larger WordCamp network (http://central.wordca...) and will get coverage on international sites, blogs and press. If you are interested in sponsoring the conference, please send an email to [masked], or call +972.2.5660297.
With WP today one can build also very complex sites, of course only if someone knows WP API in depth and its posibillities possibilities.
Anyway, I don't think that this thread here is meant for commercial links to course offers, no matter what the platform is. There are more appropriate ways to do marketing.
I look forward to WordCamp Jerusalem 2010
And I need wp free lancer for a projects. aronco@ronkal.co.il

If anyone is driving from the area of Petach Tikva and has a spot, I'd appreciate a lift. Thanks!
Well, this comments platform doesn't support Hebrew characters...
Anyway, will you publish soon also the subject for each speaker ?
Thanks
I'm really sorry Meetup doesn't support Hebrew. I didn't know when we set ourselves up here. Next year we'll know better.
Maor, things keep happening that change the speaking schedule, but I'm going to put it up soon anyways. I'll let everyone know once it's up.
Thanks Miriam, I'll keep updating.
And thanks again for your great job organizing the conference !
I've published some WordCamp banners on my www.maorb.info blog.
Just how beginner are the beginner sessions? I am a graphic designer doing web design and don't know wordpress at all. But I want to learn it. Is this venue for me?
The Wordpress pool party and JBNF will conflict and there is heavy traffic at that hour. Could we encourage JBNF to move their venue this once from Nefesh Benefesh to a room in the Jerusalem College of Technology (since Wordpress will finish at 5 and JBNF starts at 5:45). Will save wear and tear on attendees. Also some don't have cars.
FE, may I be the brave one to ask you what is JBNF? Without the B, I know. But with it? Anyway, I'm SO excited about the WordCamp and the afterparty!
JBNF is the Jerusalem Business Networking Forum http://www.meetup.com/JerusalemBNF/calendar/14160830/![]()

Few people realize what tremendous efforts go into organizing a conference. Having done several, I have all the more respect for Miriam and her amazing team. WordCamp 2010 was a huge success because you could feel their tremendous efforts in so many ways. Matt was a delight; Oren was so impressive and gave me great hopes for Israel's future developers! All in all, an amazing day. JCT was a gracious host and we should all be so grateful to them for their part in making WordCamp 2010 amazing!
