WP CBR March Meetup!

First meetup of 2013! Jason Conroy has offered to do a talk on Security and Wordpress - so well worth coming along!
We are looking for others to do lightning talks for the evening - short 5 to 10 minutes presentations on a topic. It doesn't have to be WordPress specific, it could be around a challenge you've had building a website or using the interface that you overcame - we would love to hear about it. Please email your topics to [masked] so we can arrange the schedule for the night.
Pizza's and nibblies, along with Tea & Coffee will be provided - all we need is your company to make the evening a success.
The Hartley Life Care facilities are awesome. The room costs us $80 a night, so if you if you could make a small donation on the night to offset the organizers costs, we would be most appreciative!

Sounds like I missed a great presentation at the beginning of the month. Hope to make it to the next one. Thanks John for the helpful links and Jason for those slides. I have tightened the security for my websites .... and upgraded!

Big thanks to everyone involved in organising this; Jason and John for your presentations (I've successfully updated one of my sites for the first time,huge relief it all went well!); and of course Jason for the catering! It's such a supportive atmosphere and everyone so willing to help. I leave each time having learnt heaps and had a really nice time. See you in April!

Thanks John - really appreciate the reviews. I've never seen Expression Web 4 + WP in action. I'd be keen for a demo sometime. Do you have a link for a site you've built for it? I'm interested in what the code looks like that it spits out. Thanks!

Sure. It's early days. But the code is not the sort we used to associate with FrontPage for example. I'll try it out with a small project hopefully later this month and let you see the result when it's ready.
