WordPress Chapel Hill Update

Hi everyone,

I hope you're all doing well.

I've got some great news. I recently landed a position with Market America in Greensboro, so I'll be staying put in this area for the foreseeable future. I've been commuting 3-days a week from Chapel Hill and it's been fine so far. The last few weeks since our WordPress Chapel Hill on responsive design have been quite busy, but its time to start planning for the next WordPress Chapel Hill for the first week of March.

First, I'll need a space, so if the Health Sciences Library would allow us to return, that would be great.

Second, we need a topic. Generally, I've been picking the topics, but I'd like this next Meetup to more conversational. That being said, if people want to submit a question or topic they'd like to discuss for the next Meetup, I'lll post them and we can take a vote.

I know Wally, one of our members, had some things he was doing he wanted to share. If you're working on something interesting and want to share it with the group and get feedback, that's great too.

Before I set the next event date, I'd like to get some feedback from the group. Please let me know as soon as you can what ideas you have or what you want to present on and we'll make it happen.

I know I haven't posted my slides or other info on responsive design. I pinky swear I'll get that out as soon a humanly possible.

If anyone knows a combination Graphic Designer with front-end development skills (HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript) who is looking for a job, please let me know. I already have one candidate from the group (Nogui) who I've submitted, but we're growing and looking for others. It's mostly e-commerce around 17 different brands sold by Market America. The position is in Greensboro, but there is some flexibility to work from home two days a week. I'm commuting from Chapel Hill and could carpool with someone around here if it worked out.

Let me know.
