Topic for the Meetup next week

Hi everyone,

One of our members, Wally Robertson, is working on a project that he's interested in having a discussion around next week, during the Meetup. WordPress can obviously create Posts or Page, and with tools like All In One SEO or other search engine optimization techniques in themes or with other plug-ins, you can do a lot to have your site's posts or pages found in search.

Of course, you can create custom post types, but how to you do so based on data ingested from various sources, and then inherently make those posts searchable by automating the process of assigning SEO value to key words, terms, and phrases in the dynamically ingested content?

Pretty interesting stuff and something surely someone must be studying at UNC SILS or Computer Science. Maybe someone has some experience in this area and we can talk about why this is important or how one would go about getting this to work in a WordPress world.

Would be interesting to hear members thoughts on the topic and suggestions about how to explore the possibilities.

In other news, at my new day job at Market America in Greensboro, we launched a new blog: http://www.conquerblo..., which will give us a communication channel for Conquer Entertainment, which is part of the company's new media strategy.

And, we just completed work on Insights.GovLoop.com for GovLoop in Washington D.C. If you work in government and are interested in joining a social network of government employees, then GovLoop is your place.

All the content in the footer is auto-generated from XML feeds sourced from various organizations and we've got an infinite scroll on the archive pages. We're going to be working on improving the video content on the home page so that it pops up, instead of trying to watch clips in their current size.

Look forward to seeing everyone next week!
