2. Dealing with upload file size limits
3. Runing out of memory
4. Turning on debug and being able to interpret results from that
5. 500 server errors, what causes them, how to fix them.
6. When permalinks needing rejigging
7. Having to add FTP details every time you install a plguin and how to add the relevant defines to the config to combat this if your host won't fix your permissions.
8. Permissions errors, how to diagnose them, and what to ask your host to do to fix them.

Hi, I have to take my dog to the vet tomorrow night, so I'd otherwise come, but I do have a question regarding purchasing domain names - is $500 USD for a domain name too much? Wondering if anyone has ever had experiences with over-priced domain names? (the quote is from domainmarket.com).

Hi Caroline, technically nobody owns a domain name as you say, but if you're the registrant it's as good as owning it. You're correct, even if you purchase a domain name from a third party, once you own it you still need to pay yearly (or every 2 years for .au) renewal fees. Shoot me a message at chris (at) chrisburgess.com.au if you have any questions.

Hi Chris, thanks very much. I've noticed the Australian domain name companies are far more clearer in their terms and conditions, and what you get for your money, than the ones in the US, generally speaking. Thanks for the tip.

Hi WP Friends, Is anyone having this trouble in editor? Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you're reconnected. We're backing up this post in your browser. I've checked with my host (Bluehost), who says all is normal at their end. It slows the work right down. From the WP Forums, others are having the same problem, but there seems to be no clear solution. Any ideas??

    Cheers, John
