ABOUT WORDPRESS
WordPress has evolved to be MUCH more than blogging software. Thanks to the amazing open source community, there are plugins that can customize a WordPress website to do just about anything - not to mention how SEO friendly the platform is. And WordPress is easy to learn and easy to use - even a newbie can have a basic site up and running in less than a few hours! Of course, once you discover WordPress you would never want to just leave it at that!

ABOUT THE WEST JORDAN WORDPRESS MEETUP
Depending on the subject, we may limit the number of attendees at certain events in order to keep the setting small and agile for learning purposes.

WordPress is free open source software, as are most of the plugins and many themes. The software is constantly being updated and improved, so learning WordPress is an ongoing process. Consider this club to be both for education and support for your WordPress web endeavors!
