Everything was excellent and I especially appreciate the organizers who obviously worked very hard, the speakers who shared their knowledge with us and my fellow attendees whom I was proud to sit among.

It was great. I knew enough to build some pages, posts and categories, then correct my errors, then define a few options on a few widgets, but by far, I learned so much in 2 days. I am so pleased that I came down from the Worcester area. Concepts and definitions were clear, descriptions ample, teachers fabulous. The entire event was well architected and the venue was perfect. I now have a much more defined idea of what m goals are and how to achieve them. For now, using a free theme is all I need but when this changes, I know that I will ramp up quickly. I am so impressed with all the great talent and skills that the Providence WP developers and designers displayed during these 2 days. What a great bunch of people. I felt so very welcomed over and over. Thanks so much for all your hard work and solid organization of this, my first WordCamp. Bravo. It was all good.

In a word... Unbelievable. I'm telling everyone.
Thanks to Kurt Eng for a very well-organized, thorough introduction to WorkPress in Friday's Beginners Workshop which my 13 year old grandson James and I attended. James is fired up to launch his own site, and I picked up some good tips as well. Is there a link to view his presentation deck?
Marcia, Kurt will email to attendees the slides.
Thanks, Reiko. We won't be attending today. Any way we can pick up t-shirts at some later date?
Turns out I won't be able to go, after all. Anyone want my ticket?

Looking forward to the event. I sent the invite out to all of the Rhode Island Digital Marketers group as well.

How soon will sign up begin?

@ Joyce & Kathy - To stay up-to-date on the upcoming WordCamp Providence, please visit http://2013.providence.wordcamp.org/ and sign up for the mailing list. Actual tickets to the event will go on sale through that website closer to the actual date—you will need to sign up there in order to be confirmed for the conference. Based on other WordCamps, you can probably expect the fee to no more than about $20 per day :)
Hope to see you there!

Hi Everyone, newbie here. This word camp sounds interesting. Is there a fee and session schedule? Thx.
Am I confirmed for both days of WP Camp or only Fri? Would love to come both days, I need to learn as much as possible, as quickly as possible.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
