Can't make it tonight... in France. My question(s) for Tom. I have a network of sites which are each created as clones of a base site. The main site is wp-a2z.org, the base site that's cloned is core.wp-a2z.org.
The clones, which are created as subdomains are currently: WordPress, EDD and Jetpack.
After cloning the site is updated to reflect the content indicated by the subdomain name. e.g.
where 'core' contains documentation for the core WordPress functionality, WordPress includes the logic of the bundled plugins and themes: Akismet, Hello Dolly, and 2012 thru 2014 themes.

EDD is the core plus Easy Digital Downloads. The core was originally built with WordPress 3.9.x
Since then I've upgraded to WordPress 4.0.
I've had to run the updates against each clone. For future updates I'd want any updates I make to the base site to be replicated to the clones.
    Can you suggest a method?

Content. I think I forgot to point out that each site contains the results of parsing the source code so that it can display the API reference for the code. So core.wp-a2z.org contains the results of parsing WordPress core, wordpress.wp-a2z.org contains the result of parsing WordPress core plus Akismet, hello-doolly and the 3 bundled themes, and edd.wp-a2z.org is Easy Digital Downloads on WordPress core.

So when WordPress core is updated to 4.0.1 I'll need to rebuild the content that reflects the core then replicate the updates to the clones.

      Hi Ian

I’m not 100% sure what you are trying to achieve, but a few things to note are:
      - BuddyPress does not require Multisite
      - If you are needing/wanting Multisite then it might be worth looking at
      = https://wordpress.org/...

Just don’t forget the shared user base that comes with Multisite.

Damn, I accidentally agreed to go to a Brighton Digital Festival thing tonight, so I have to cancel. One of these days I will make it to a meet up! It's a shame, because I actually need to set up my first multi-site soon.

Hi WordUppers! Does anyone have any questions or points they'd specifically like Tom to run through tonight? Looking forward to seeing you all!
