Wordcamp Boston

Boston has scheduled their WordCamp the weekend right after the Portland, ME one. The schedule has not been announced yet so I'm not certain of the times, but Sat Aug 23 will be a full day of presentations on the 6th floor of the MIT Media Lab, located at 75 Amherst St in Cambridge followed by an afterparty (usually has great food and cocktails and is great for networking). Our own Amanda Giles will be giving a talk titled "Creating Your First Widget (it’s not as hard as you think!)"

Then Sunday, August 24th will be a contributor day. If you’re interested in learning how to get involved and contribute to WordPress, this event is for you! It’ll be geared towards new contributors. The contributor day will be taking place at Workbar Cambridge, at 45 Prospect St in Cambridge.

Tickets are only $20. This is a great deal as these sessions are often very informative.
