  • This location is shown only to members

Thank you to everyone who has contacted me about taking over this Meetup. I really appreciate your support. The polls have been closed a little early since the voting has stopped and I've received an enthusiastic response to schedule our next Meetup. Members who have voted chose Tuesday evenings. I would also like to thank Darren Ernest who has graciously donated his office for this Meetup. Wifi access is available so bring your laptop if you like. Please feel free to email me questions or topics you would like to cover. Steve

was able to meet several other wordpress pros and will likely connect with them on future projects. Steve is very committed to making the group work since taking it over and has some good ideas to make it a good group for everyone of all levels.

The turn out for this meetup was amazing! We had almost 20 WordPress lovers. From beginners to advanced and a few plugin developers. I was very pleased.

Good intro and planning for FUTURE meetings. I left before any real meat could be discussed, I had to catch a train. Might of been better to do the planning via the maillist.

like the midtown location, i always wanted to go to this meetup, but downtown was too inconvenient. you need a much bigger venue with actual chairs for everyone. I'm not gonna stand for an hour again if I get there at 7:02 like last night.

I suggest only one meeting for now. with breakout time if necessary. the newbies can learn from the 'experts' and the experts can learn what the newbies are really looking for and get ideas from them for themes and plugins. You need about 50-60 people SHOWING up to be at the point to consider splitting the meeting by experience.

Thanks for doing this in Midtown. This is much easier to get to (at least for me). BTW, 1123 Broadway is between 26 and 25, just north of the Flatiron building.
