I am so excited to host this EXQUISITE dining and wine experience with my friends of Dining in Dallas and Words and Wine Society. Here in Urban Dallas is an absolutely fabulous little ‘jewel' of a hotel with secrets held inside that I must simply introduce you to. The Melrose Warwick Hotel is a warm and inviting setting that also host's a four star restaurant, The Landmark. Chef JeffMoschetti or ‘Chef Jeff' as I call him is a complete doll and extremely talented in the kitchen. His Dallas resume includes The Crescent, The Dragonfly and StephenPyles. He is a ‘Food Artist', taking simple ‘Southern Comfort' food, hence big in flavor and warm to the heart and putting his mark on it. I simply cannot wait to try the ‘Sear Day Boat Scallops', I wish I could repeat the way he made me fall in love with this dish, but I can't. Although, check out Guidelive's review, BillAddison also loved this dish. All I can tell you is that I have good taste in my wines, food and sometimes friends (some remain nameless, jokingly) so you should join me and Chef Jeff at The Landmark the last Saturday in April. Hopefully everyone's refund checks came in and you can allow yourself to splurge a little and have a fabulous meal. This will be a set price on a pre selected menu of choices. Chef Jeff has also agreed to pair some fine wines within budget to accompany the dining affair, alcohol is not included in the pre-set price. The Prix Fix Price is $48.00.
Afterwards I will entice as many of you as I can to join me at one of my favorite spots just steps away from the dining room (Literally) to The Library Bar so we can listen to the smooth jazz styling's of my good friend Eric Barnes, he sometimes shares his bench with me so I can pretend sing along with him. He is just to cool!
