What type of books do you enjoy?

I like any great literature--classics or contemporary.

Tell us a little about yourself:

I have a Masters in literature, enjoy creative writing, and love the arts--theatre, opera, symphony, dance, film, and visual arts.

What do you want to see happen in this book/social club?

...keep enjoying great company, good "book talk," and nice wine.

What was your favorite book as a kid?

As a kid, I love "From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler," the story of a little girl and her brother who run away to New York and live in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I still love that idea!

Do you have a quote or motto that best descibes you and your life?

"I want a wild, roving, vagabond life. I always want to do something daring and spirited [...]" (Isabel Arundell).

I'm a wordsmith and writing coach through my company, SPARK Center, as well as co-director of Art Saveur.
