Introduction

I love the written word and the taste of a good bold wine. The thought of sharing the two with a good group of people is quit appealing.

What type of books do you enjoy?

I am not particular. I just love a good read.

Tell us a little about yourself:

I am just a girl who loves life and all that it has to offer . . . good or bad. Every life experience holds its own lesson.

What do you want to see happen in this book/social club?

I'm not sure; but hope it is something intellectually delightful.

What was your favorite book as a kid?

I was a Peanuts fan as a kid. However, my parents made me read all the classics, Dickerson, Keats, Twain, Arnold, etc. For fun I would sneak and read Rice novels. There was never anything like reading a good dark tale and my own imagination.

Do you have a quote or motto that best descibes you and your life?

There are several quotes/mottos that best describe me. One of my favorites is . . . . "The older I get, the greater power I seem to have to help the world; I am like a snowball - the further I am rolled, the more I gain." Susan B. Anthony.
