Introduction
I love to read and belonging to a book club would widen my interests in that regard. Your club sounds like the right mix for me as I also enjoy meeting new and interesting people.
What type of books do you enjoy?
I am interested in a variety of subjects, both novel and factual.
Tell us a little about yourself:
I am a Londoner who has lived in Texas for many years. I have a wide circle of friends but enjoy meeting new and interesting people.
What do you want to see happen in this book/social club?
I am hopeful that it will be an eclectic group.
What was your favorite book as a kid?
In my early childhood I favored the "Ann of Green Gables" series. As an older child "An American Tragedy" was one of my favorites.
Do you have a quote or motto that best descibes you and your life?
I have nothing to fear but fear itself.

I am a new member but my first, and to date only, visit with this Club was very pleasant. The other members were very welcoming and I enjoyed the discussion even though I had a very limited knowledge of the content of the book. For me it was the right mix of fun and substance. It seems to be a compatible group of people open to new ideas.
